Sony Interactive Entertainment ได้มีการเปิดเผยโฉมของตัวเครื่อง PlayStation 5 ออกมาให้เราได้ชมกันอย่างเป็นทางการแล้วในงาน “The Future of Gaming” เมื่อคืนที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งตัวเครื่องนั้นจะมีการออกวางจำหน่ายในสองเวอร์ชันทั้งเวอร์ชันมาตรฐานและเวอร์ชันดิจิทัลที่ตัดในส่วนของดิสก์ไดรฟ์ออกไป และยังได้มีการเปิดเผยอุปกรณ์ต่อพ่วงที่จะออกวางจำหน่ายพร้อมกับตัวเครื่องด้วย
โดยภายในการนำเสนอของทาง Sony ยังได้มีการนำตัวเกมที่จะออกวางจำหน่ายให้กับเครื่อง PlayStation 5 ออกมาให้เราได้ชมกันอย่างมากมายไม่ว่าจะเป็นเกมอย่าง Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Demon’s Souls ฉบับรีเมกและอื่นๆ อีกมากมาย
แต่อย่างไรก็ดีทาง Sony ก็ยังไม่ได้มีการออกมาเปิดเผยราคาของตัวเครื่องทั้งสองเวอร์ชันออกมาให้เราได้ทราบกันในตอนนี้ รวมไปถึงวันวางจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการเองก็ด้วยซึ่งมีเพียงการระบุไว้เพียงแค่คร่าวๆ ในช่วงเทศกาลวันหยุดปลายปีนี้เท่านั้น
